On Monday, May 25, 2026, a joint debate was held at the Museum of Underwater Archaeology and Baltic Fisheries in Łeba, attended by the Senate Committees on Budget and Public Finance, National Economy and Innovation, Climate and Environment, and the Parliamentary Maritime Group. In addition to parliamentarians, the meeting was attended by Minister Jacek Karnowski, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy; Minister Konrad Wojnarowski, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Energy; representatives of local authorities; and representatives of the most important stakeholders in key energy investments being implemented in Pomerania.

During the meeting, Dominika Taranko took the floor and delivered a presentation titled “Strategy for the Development of the Domestic Industry and Services for the Wind Sector as an Element of the State’s Industrial Policy.” The Vice President and Managing Director of Wind Industry Hub highlighted the growing participation of Polish companies in wind energy supply chains and the importance of strengthening local content to build a competitive net-zero industry in Poland.

Meeting participants also received copies of our most important analyses from recent months – the Polish Strategy for the Development of the Offshore Wind Farm Industry and the twin strategy for the onshore wind industry published two weeks ago. Together, these two documents form Poland’s first comprehensive vision for the development of the entire wind energy industry and outline a shared roadmap for building strong local content and a modern industrial base – identifying the key investment, regulatory, and competency needs essential for increasing the participation of Polish companies in domestic and European supply chains.
