On June 16–17, Dominika Taranko attended the Global Offshore Wind 2026 conference organized by RenewableUK in Manchester. On the first day of the conference, a panel discussion titled Scaling offshore wind from Canada to Poland to the Philippines took place on the main stage. The debate focused on an analysis of three emerging markets – the success of Poland’s offshore wind auction was compared with a 3.3 GW auction in the Philippines and early projects and regulatory frameworks in Nova Scotia, Canada.
