The world is changing dynamically, and the Baltic Sea region is facing new and complex challenges. Security – civil, logistical, energy or digital – has become a priority.
On Friday, October 11, 2024, Wind Industry Hub Vice President Arkadiusz Sekscinski took part in the Baltic Connections Summit, a closed event dedicated to participants from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and focusing on multiple aspects of security.
The discussion entitled. “Energy transition – impact on security and energy independence – can an energy bridge between Poland, Ukraine and the Baltic States be the solution? “ was moderated by energy expert Daivis Virbickas, while participants included:
- Jaroslaw Niewierowicz – partner of the investment fund EIKA and member of the supervisory board of Enerhoatom; former Lithuanian Minister of Energy.
- Žygimantas Vaičiūnas – diplomat, Lithuanian representative for energy in the EU
- Mindaugas Zakaras – chairman of Lithuania’s MT Group
- Kamil Wyszkowski – executive director of UNGC Network Poland and representative for Poland of UNOPS, UN
The Baltic Connections Summit provided a unique platform to share experiences, build relationships and develop joint strategies for the future.
