On Tuesday and Wednesday, we had the pleasure of participating as a partner in a Polish-Danish meeting of suppliers to the offshore wind energy sector.
On 23 September, the Danish delegation held meetings in Warsaw, including presentations by Piotr Czopek and Dominika Taranko on the state of the wind market in Poland and the strategy for the development of the wind industry in Poland, and on 24 September, they moved to Szczecin.
As a partner of the event, Wind Industry Hub supported the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Poland and Danish Energy Export in organising business networking.
Nearly 60 Polish and 14 Danish companies took part in the meetings over two days, each of which had the opportunity to give a short individual presentation. Nearly 150 speed dating meetings were also organised, and the event in Szczecin was attended by over 100 representatives of the offshore wind energy supply chain.
The gala dinner was also attended by Andrzej Preiss, Danish Consul in Szczecin, and Morgan Siem Lynge, Director of Economic Diplomacy and Trade, Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Poland, Michał Przepiera, Deputy Mayor of Szczecin, and Renata Polikowska from the Szczecin Metropolitan Development Agency.
We would like to thank the following people for their fantastic cooperation: Izabela Jakobsen, Natalia Ścięgosz, Dorota Knudsen, Oliwia Mróz-Malik, Katarzyna Lewandowska and Michał Forycki.
We wish all companies and meeting participants fruitful cooperation on joint projects in the near and distant future.
