From September 22–25, 2026, the Polish wind energy industry had a strong presence at the WindEnergy Hamburg trade show. The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development organized a Polish national pavilion there for the first time—41 Polish companies presented their offerings at the pavilion, and representatives from 31 of them were present on site.
On Tuesday, September 22, the stand hosted the “Meet Poland: PWEA Networking Reception,” organized by the Polish Wind Energy Association in cooperation with the Center for Economic Initiatives of the Marshal’s Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The large crowds of participants confirmed the high level of interest in the Polish market. The booth was visited by Aleksandra Krystek-Biernacka, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Hamburg.
PSEW and WIH were also featured in the fair’s program. On September 22, Piotr Czopek, Vice President of PSEW and WIH, participated in the panel discussion “CFDs in Europe. Towards a Level Playing Field or a Patchwork of Requirements?” in the Dutch pavilion, which focused on the competitiveness of the European offshore wind supply chain and the growing role of national requirements in procurement processes. The following day, Janusz Gajowiecki, President of PSEW and WIH, discussed the current situation and development prospects of the wind energy markets in Poland, France, and the United Kingdom on the Energy Transition Stage—alongside Ajai Ahluwalia (RenewableUK) and Maëlle Benistand-Hector (SER), in a discussion moderated by Alexandre Frémaux (WindEurope).
We would like to thank PARP for the opportunity to participate in the Polish GreenTech Promotion Program and for providing a platform to promote the Polish wind energy industry.
