The PSEW2026 Conference in Świnoujście is just around the corner!
Among the many attractions we have prepared for you, the I3FLOAT workshop titled “Building an Innovative Supply Chain for Floating Offshore Wind” deserves special attention.
Floating wind projects are beginning to play an increasingly significant role in the landscape of European offshore wind energy projects – especially in countries with deeper waters, such as the United Kingdom, France, Norway, Portugal, and Spain.
The development of this new technology also presents an opportunity for suppliers in the supply chain from industrialized regions. Western Pomerania demonstrates high production potential and, as part of the I3FLOAT project, has been identified as one of the key regions for fostering innovation across the entire investment lifecycle, enabling local SMEs to apply for innovation grants of up to €60,000 starting in September. This represents a real opportunity for domestic companies—a significant portion of the funds has been allocated to the European Union’s so-called less developed regions (LDRs), which cover most of Poland!
During the second open regional workshop as part of the I3FLOAT project, we will summarize the new guidelines of the Innovation Agenda for the floating wind farm supply chain, which is currently being finalized; discuss opportunities for SMEs to obtain grants; and hear presentations on solutions for floating wind technology already being developed in Poland.
We invite representatives from business, government institutions, as well as scientists and representatives of the R&D sector. Admission to the workshops is free!
