On the first day of the Offshore Wind Poland 2025 conference, an interesting panel discussion entitled ‘Phase II of Polish offshore in the eyes of the supply chain’ took place during the plenary session. The discussion was moderated by Dominika Taranko, Vice-President and Managing Director of Wind Industry Hub, and the guests were:
➡️ Maciej Mierzwiński, CEE Energy Group
➡️ Bart Dujczynski, Proventus Renewables Ltd
➡️ Radosław Kowalczyk, Stocznia Szczecińska ‘Wulkan’ sp. z o.o.
➡️ Joanna Smolik, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego
➡️ Jagna Kubańska-Łyczakowska, Vestas

The experts agreed that the second phase of Polish offshore is a real opportunity for significant growth in the local supply chain. We are seeing an increasingly strong participation of Polish companies – from component manufacturing, through the development of local suppliers, to the building of managerial and technical competences. The industry is consolidating, preparing to deliver key elements for project implementation.

A well-developed port infrastructure base and human capital from the first phase can significantly accelerate the implementation of second-phase projects. It will also be crucial to prepare companies for tenders at an early stage, including robust financial models and clear team competencies.

Phase II is a turning point – if we make proper use of local potential, we can strengthen the position of Polish companies in the European supply chain.
